Detailed Itinerary:
DAY 01: GUWAHATI – BOMDILA (360 KMS / 8 hrs)
After early Breakfast, road to Bomdila.You will enter Arunachal Pradesh through Bhalukpong and your Inner Line Permit will be checked here. Enroute you can visit Tipi Orchid Research institute.
Overnight accommodation will be in Bomdila.
TERRAIN Plains + Hills
DAY 02: BOMDILLA – TAWANG(180 KMS / 6-7 Hrs)
After early breakfast,road to Tawang through serpentine roads of the mountains. This ride you will rise upto 13700 Ft. and this is called as SeLa Top and beginning of the Tawang District. 40 Km ahead you can visit Jaswant Garh, a memorial build for a gallant soldier of 1962 Indo-China War.
Overnightaccommodation will be in Tawang.

DAY 03: TAWANG (Full day tour)
After Breakfast, Full day exploration of Tawang which includes the major ones are:
Tawang Monastery (Gaden Namgyal Lhatse): Tawang Monastery about 400 years old, situated at an altitude of approximately 10,000 ft. is the second largest Buddhist monastery in India. It also holds the distinction of being the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. The monastery is the house of more than 700 monks.
Urqelling Monastery: It is the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama who is the only Indian to have risen to such a high position in Gelupka Sect of Buddhism so far. Inside the monastery there are several Stupas and people from all walks of life visit this place during Buddhist New Year to get the blessing for the coming year.
The Craft Center: The craft center in Tawang sells beautiful masks, hand woven carpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber, ‘chubas’ the local dress and delightful affordable mementos.
Tawang War Memorial: After lunch around 3: 30 pm we will leave for Tawang War Memorial. The memorial is dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian war. The memorial is 40-foot-high and like a stupa in design. It is locally called ‘Namgyal Chortan’. The names of 2420 martyrs imprinted in gold on 32 black granite plagues.

DAY 04: TAWANG –DIRANG(150KMS / 5-6Hrs)
After Breakfast transfer from Tawang to Dirang. En-route visit Nurarang / Jung Falls.

The Jung Falls is located about 35 kilometers from the centre of Tawang city and about 3 kilometers from the town of Jung. Jung is the valley that lies between Sella and Tawang. The Jung Falls, which is fed by alpine lakes and snow streams tumbles in multiple steep steps into the river below from an appreciable height. And everything around the waterfall is dense green adding to the beauty of the waterfall.
Dirang: Dirang 40 kms from Bomdila is situated at an altitude of 1497 meters. It is an ideal hill resort in West Kameng district with beautiful Apple Nursery, Kiwi Farm, Yak Research Centre, Buddhist Gompa, Hot Water Spring and ancient Dirang Jong (Fort). It is the base camp for trekking to Gorichen peak and other bird watching trails.
DAY 05: DIRANG – TEZPUR(220 KMS / 6-7 Hrs)
fter Breakfast, transfer from Dirang to Tezpur, En route visit Bomdila Monastery: The Monastery has been built under the guidance of Dalai Lama. It is a residence of more than 200 Buddhist monks. Also visit craft center, where very fine wooden carpets of colorful designs and Masks are produced.
Bomdila also offers a Bird’s eye view of Kangto and Go richen peaks (highest peaks in the state) amidst the Himalayan landscape and snow clad ranges.

TERRAIN: Mountains + Plains
DAY 06: TEZPUR – GUWAHATI DEPARTURE (200 KMS / 4-5 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel and sightseeing in Tezpur, the ruins and remains of Agnigarh where the immortal romance blossomed and stands testimony to the eternal time, Bamuni Hills, with sculptural ruins dating back to 9th and 10th centuries. The influence of Gupta style of architecture is seen here. The stone carvings depicted on the walls of Bamuni Hills are fine specimen of architectural brilliance of the ancient age. You can find Lord Vishnu’s 10 incarnations depicted in the bracket lintel hat is cross-shaped. Visit cole park where you can enjoy boating. Later on transfer to Guwahati airport / Railway station for your departure from Assam.
